This is a lovely outdoor living room that’s complete with sofa, pillows and overhead lamps. The roofing overhead allows you to enjoy relaxing there when it rains or during the afternoons when it gets holt.
This reminds you of a beautiful resort terrace or outdoor veranda where you can just hang out and spend time with people you care about.
Ranch Style Hangout
For something that looks more like a country getaway, this is a beautifully decorated space with very open, party open ceilings.
The white interior including furniture makes is very pristine and serene.
I also love that all the spaces around are open which allows you to enjoy fresh air and a view of nature.

Outdoor Room with String Light
Should you prefer something that’s open air, this is the perfect design for you.
It doesn’t’ take up as big a space as the previous tow. And, you can set it up right beside your home.
The string lights overhead string lights add a nice touch. They also make the space cozy for night-time entertainment.
Country Home Veranda
This is one of my favorites among our outdoor room ideas because of the character it has.
It matches the brown colors of the hardwood floor and the table along with the white of the ceiling and seating.
This is more traditional that sone of the outdoor room designs we have. But, it is perfect if you want to spend some time outside your house.
Outdoor Room Attached to House
One of the best things about an outdoor room attached to your house lets you just step out your door and into another space.
Sometimes, you just need to breathe some fresh air. Or, if you want to work somewhere quietly away from the kids and everything else happening inside the house.
Rustic Outdoor Living Room
I love high ceilings. And, this is another example of how you can design it so that to give it a different look.
The high slanted ceiling makes this look like a clubhouse of some resort where you can just lounge around.
The rustic design also makes it stand out.
L-Shaped Indoor Outdoor Connected Space
Most of the outdoor room ideas in our list are single rooms that resemble living rooms.
This is different.
It is an L-shaped outdoor room that’s more like a hallway. But, the amenities, furniture, chairs and tables make it a huge space that can be used as a different rooms.

In case you live somewhere the nights can get cold, this lovely brick floor outdoor room is equipped with an traditional fireplace.
This is a very cozy space that’s amazing wo just hang out for mid-afternoon coffee or tea. And, you do something similar as night as well.

If you prefer something that’s made from natural materials, this is a great idea. The roofing is made from wood and the entire area is surrounded by shrubs and container plants that make this an oasis in the middle of nature.

So far, we seen the rustic, traditional and country. Not, here’s something modern.
This looks like something you’d see in Architectural Digest.
It has a sleep, crisp angled glass ceiling that doubles as a sunroof. And, the four coursers are surrounded by curtains instead of doors for easy access.
The interior of this outdoor room’s centerpiece is the sofa seating and table. And, you have complementing greenery to finish the design.

This is another open ceiling outdoor room. But this time you have slats overhead to reduce the brunt of the sun. Nevertheless it uses natural light to provide brightness.
The space itself is very beautiful as it contains everything you need to entertain guests including a grill.
Since this outdoor room directly connects to the house, you can easily pick up drinks and food from the kitchen as well.
Connected Outdoor Room
This is another living room located just outside the main house with a sliding glass door connecting both.
It is a great space to hang out with friends when you have them over.
