Buying garden décor can be expensive. And, they’re often unnecessary unless you’re remodeling.

So, a good way to add new looks or upgrade the design of your garden to create some DIY décor or repurpose old, unused items to do so.

Here are some amazing creations you don’t want to miss.

Aluminum Pail Planter

This simple design makes use of old aluminum containers and a few large gardening tools. By arranging them in a unique way, you’ll be able to decorate a small blank section of your garden.

Unlike some of the other garden decorating ideas, this one is not meant to be eye-catching. Instead, it is used to fill in some gaps that might look bare otherwise.

Decorative Flower Ladder

This is a lovely floral pot stand that looks like a ladder. But, it does not use an actual ladder. Instead a decorative one. You certainly won’t be able to get up on this ladder even one step as it will break.

This also means that you should not add overly large or heavy plants as it ladder won’t be able to support it.

Old fences often go down when you replace them. If you have an old picket fence, you can use the individual pickets for different things. They’re just pieces of wood with one sharp edge. So, do be careful.

Repurposed Drawers

This lovely DIY garden décor idea makes use f an old wooden platform and some old drawers.

You can turn the wooden platform up vertically to provide the backdrop for the drawers planters. It if doesn’t stand up by itself, you can lean it against the wall to better balance.

Once you have the background up, you can place some old drawers against it such that the storage section is facing forward. This gives you an area to place small plants.

You can organize the drawers in any way you see fit.

Bed Spoke Birdhouses

Nobody ever reuses old bed spokes. Here’s one way to incorporate them into the garden as decorations.

By placing a pointed wooden roof on top of the bed spokes, you’ll be able to turn them into lovely mini-birdhouses.

Repurposed Bicycle
