DIY Pallet Outdoor Table
Pallets are perfect for the outdoors because they’re sturdy, durable and cheap.
In fact, if you’ve had big stuff delivered to your home before, you probably still have a few pallets lying around somewhere. In that case, they’re free.
Also, these are perfect if you’ve got kids.
Young ones like running around. And, the process messing things up.
Add that to the elements outdoors, and you’ll need something rugged.
That’s why this pallet table works great.
Pallet and Tire Table & Sofa Set
Here’s another cool one!
It’s an entire outdoor sofa set including the table.
If you’ve looked around for outdoor furniture, you’ve probably noticed that these sets can cost quite a bit.
So why not make them yourself from what you already have.
The best part I love about this DIY furniture set is its bright colors.
It makes everything fun and lively.
Pallet Garden Walkway
This is not furniture per se. But, it’s an extra you can add to your garden that makes it more functional and look better too.
It’s simple, yet it can make a huge difference, especially if you look at the photo before and after.
That said, the mini project does require a little bit of digging.
So, be ready to get your hands a little dirty.
DIY Outdoor Storage Box / Bench
This outdoor storage bench looks so well made that people will think you bought it from a big box store.
It’s got everything including rolling wheels and hinges for the top to open.
The key is to smoothen the surface so it doesn’t feel rough on the edges.
Plus, take your time painting it.
When you’re done, it’ll be perfect.
Vintage Ice Chest
This is one of those things that will surprise people when they see it.
At first, they probably won’t know what it is.
Because, let’s face it, you can’t really tell what it is by looking at its exterior.
But, once you open the top lid…
Voila!
You’ve got an ice chest.
Upcycled Vintage Door Beverage Bar Station
This is one of my favorites.
Not only is it pretty to look at, it’s got that hard to achieve vintage style.
Add to the fact that it’s very functional as well.
This is something your guests will truly enjoy. In part because it’s where all the beverages are.
But, it’s eye candy as well.
Pallet Swing
This one of the simplest DIY projects you can make.
It’s a pallet that’s hung by ropes onto an overhead beam.
But, it definitely adds a nice touch, especially if you’ve got kids who like to spend time outside.
You do need to plant the hooks up top.
And, make sure the entire structure is sturdy enough to hold a good amount of weight.
Outdoor Garden Lights
This is one of the best ones.
It’s made from a pallet that’s been cut down to size to form a rectangular container.
And in them are lights.
This allows you to use them in your garden, patio,lawn or just outside you home.
Kid’s Playhouse
You’ve probably had one of these when you were young.
And wouldn’t it be great to make one for your kids?
Of course, you can always buy one of those collapsible playhouses from the store.
But what’s the fun in that?
This way you can have fun making it with the kids.
Then see them enjoy themselves playing in it.
Industrial Wood & Steel Console
This is one of the coolest DIY furniture I’ve seen.
Probably because I love that industrial, rugged look.
In any case, everything about it just works great.
The intentional rough finish. The style of the wheels. And the large, sturdy look.
Plus, you can use it as a service table, for storage and other things as well.
Cable Reel Rocking Chair
This is not something you see every day.
In fact, it doesn’t even resemble your grandma’s rocking chair.
But, if you think about it, the cable reel has the perfect shape for rocking.
It’s all up to you to turn this now-useless item into something useful again.
DIY Tree Stump Stools
So simple. Yet, you (and I) never really thought of doing them.
These stools are perfect for outdoor seating because they’re made from oak wood.
That makes them strong. And, they’re used to withstanding the elements.
Once you have the cleaned up and set up, all you need are the seat cushions on top.
Pallet Swimming Pool
Wanna know how to make your above ground pool look more classy?
Make an entire structure to support it.
If you and your kids enjoy spending time in your backyard dipping in the water, this is a great way to make it more functional.
There’s no more need to use the flimsy plastic ladder to get in the pool.
And, the large, wooden structure protects the pool from the wind and other elements.
DIY X-Stool or Table
This is a multi-purpose piece of outdoor furniture.
It works as a stool or a small side table.
And, it’s a great outdoor design piece as well.
I really like that it’s so well made that it looks like it was bought from the store.
Pallet Side Table
This is such a creative piece.
It uses two pallets that are placed side by side vertically.
This gives you a slim stand to set your table on.
It’s size and shape are perfect for being a side table that’s pressed against the wall.
You can likewise place a few other decorative furniture like flower vases or pots on top it.
Tree Bench
You’ve probably seen something like this in large parks and recreation areas.
But, didn’t think it could be done it home.
Well, guess again!
This DIY project comes with a tutorial that will show you how to build your own tree bench.
This lets you take advantage of that large tree in your backyard.
And, make it a centerpiece by adding this small piece of furniture at its base.
Children’s Picnic Table
One of the things about picnic tables is that they’re often too big for kids.
So, one solution to that is to make a child-sized picnic table yourself.

And, it’s likewise bigger.
That said, the concept is fairly similar.
So, it’s like scaling up with a few modifications.
Cabana Lounge
Once again, this is another option to something above.
This time, it’s a variation of the children’s playhouse
But, instead of making a somewhat closed playhouse, you’ll be crafting a more open cabana.
This is a cool piece of furniture that I’ll bet none of your neighbors have.
And, you can make the inside as comfortable as possible so you can relax in it.
Conclusion
Furniture is expensive.
This is especially true if you don’t consider the flimsy plastic ones.
But that doesn’t mean you can enjoy high quality outdoor furniture at a fraction of a cost.
