With everything happening around the word and it not being safe outside for children to play without masks on, these DIY backyard kids ideas are prefect to lure them outdoors to get active again.
Kids are cooped up enough as it is. And, they spend way too much time in front of their phones.
So, why not give them something they can do outside the house on their own. It lets them distance themselves from their parents while enjoying time to themselves.

American Ninja Warrior Backyard Kids Playhouse
Got kids? Here’s a great way for them to go outside and plant instead of staying in front of their phones and tablets all day.
I know what a hassle they can be as they’ll be on their phones at the dinner table or in bed when its way past their bedtime.
Setting up a backyard playhouse with obstacle course ala American Ninja Warrior is an amazing way to get them active outdoors.
Backyard Kids Chalkboard
This is such a great idea I would have never thought of. I loved it so much I copied it. Although, I did get a smaller one that I use for notes on my garden and other stuff to do.
While I truly like about it is you can use it for anything!
It works well for games, teaching the kids outdoors if you’re homeschooling or for some yard work reminders.

if you’ve got a litter of kids or they’d like some space for napping as well as doing other things, you can create this two-level backyard playhouse.
It’s got a hammock and a bunk bed that will let them take naps. And, there’s still a lot of space to do other things.

Maybe it’s because I never had my own backyard playhouse when I was a kid.

If you prefer something fun and active, try this elevated playhouse with climbing wall on the side. It’s perfect if you want your kids to burn off some energy so they’ll sleep more soundly at night.
Of course, you still have the traditional playhouse and all the accessories that some with it.

With quarantine and rules going around, it’s not a good idea to let the kids go to the park. Hack, I don’t even know if kids go to the park and play anymore nowadays.
They seem to be always stuck in front of their devices.
