Just because you have a small backyard doesn’t mean that you can’t have a swimming pool.
This is a great example of that.
The lovely pool comes with a lounging area and a beautifully manicured lawn. The tall hedges also give you all the privacy in the world so you can enjoy soaking in the water to relax and getting a tan right in your own backyard.

You don’t see a lot of these pools because most homeowners prefer to have uniform shapes.
As such, rectangle inground pools are the most popular ones of all.
That’s because that shape allows you to swim laps.
But, if you have kids and spend most of your pool time playing, then this is a more enjoyable shape.

if you want to add a few extra touches to your backyard pool, a lovely waterfall on one side is a lovely design addition.
This is an elegant way of creating moving water which is very welcoming.
I love that this backyard pool design also comes with a mini pool that’s perfect for smaller kids. It allows they to get used to the water without the risk of the deeper water.

You have easy access to your home and can easily get to the pool just by walking outside.

That’s because it allows you to create a design with just one or two laps which stretches enough to swim back and forth for exercise.

Plunge pools are becoming more and more popular because not everyone wants to swim in their pools. Plus, this lets them create a smaller shallower pool which is cheaper and costs less to maintain. It also requires a much smaller space.

This is a lovely pool that remind you of those in hotels and resorts.
It is amazingly with a large concrete space around it which lets you lounge around or even host parties.

For a more modern look, you can try this stunning backyard pool design idea.
It takes a traditional rectangular shape and adds a lovely wooden lounging area to the side.
